Disclaimer..

Let's get some things straight from the get go. I am not a quant, and the stuff I'll post on this blog will reflect that.
But I am trying to learn, and I need a place to post my thoughts, findings and ideas along the way. You know building in "public" and all that. This means that you can expect bugs, errors, missed points, spelling errors and wrong calculations. The good thing is that all the code, you'll see on this site, will be available on GitHub. So please send some pull requests my way.

Properly nobody will really ever read this blog, maybe somebody will and find it or bits of it useful. Maybe it is only future me, who will ever read this. In any case, I would like to set a general "theme" for what you can expect. I am trying to learn quantitative trading, I find it to be a fun challenge, so what I'll write about on this blog is stuff I find interesting, hard or fun along the way. I may also post random solutions to problems that I find, either related to quantitative trading, or just general coding solutions for problems I experience through my daily work as an freelance software developer.

I write code in F# and C# some Python and I would like to learn Rust, but I will not promise, that I won't post code in other languages.

This is not financial advice, do your own research.. and also have fun.
